British Parliament
Term Three
Our British Parliament style debates consist of
4 teams of two who act as the Government
and Opposition (leaders & backbenchers).
This tournament is lots of fun for
debaters, adjudicators, & spectators alike.
The 3v3 Rounds
Term One
We begin our year with a coveted 3v3 style debating
tournament which is perfect for all abilities to get
settled into debating with the AUDS, and meeting
likeminded individuals.

Panama 2025
The World Universities Debating Championships (WUDC) is the world’s biggest debating tournament, featuring a British Parliamentary debating format.

EASTERS
Easter weekend
EASTERS is a well-loved Australian 3v3 style debating tournament, aimed at developing debaters’ skills.
Teams consist of 3 debaters who speak for 8 minutes with no replies. Two team members must be novice debaters.
AUSTRALS
June/July 2024
The Australasian Intervarsity Debating Championships (AUSTRALS) is an annual 3v3 format debating tournament aimed at intermediate and experienced debaters.
Teams consist of 3 debaters who speak for 8 minutes with replies.
